Emerson L. Murray, 64, of 1504 Robinson, was dead on arrival at 4:50 p.m., yesterday (June 26, 1969) at Lake View Memorial. Death was from natural causes. He had lived at the Robinson address 14 years. Born May 9, 1905, in Danville, he was a son of Charles and Lula Rhodes Murray. He had been a welder for the C&EI Railroad for 46 years. He was married Sept. 1, 1923, in Crawfordsville, Ind., to Leona White, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Richard, of Danville, and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son and two brothers. Mr. Murray was a member of the East Park Church of Christ, the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen 561 and the Anchor Masonic Lodge. His hobby was repair work. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the East Park Church of Christ. Frank Binford will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Barrick & Son Funeral Home 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today. The body will be taken to the church an hour before services.
