Crawfordsville Jan 30 – Pat Murphy known
as “Old Murph” an inveterate but harmless drunkard, aged about 65, Saturday
night at 12 o’clock while in a state of intoxication fell down the back stairs
of Ed Coleman’s saloon. He was instantly
killed, his neck and right arm being broken. - kbz
