Murphy - Maude Armfield

Waynetown, Ind. - Mrs. Maude Murphy, 78, died at 9 a.m. Saturday (June 21, 1958) at her home in Waynetown. She had been ill since Jan. 29. Mrs. Murphy, a member of the Wingate Christian Church, was born Oct. 8, 1879, in Tippecanoe County, the daughter of Robert and Ida Miller Armfield. She was married Jan 29, 1900 to Ora Murphy who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ellen Pittman of Waynetown and Mrs. Lucille Weaver of Indianapolis; a son, Robert of Crawfordsville Route 4; two sisters, Miss Mary Armfield and Mrs. Ruth Burnett, both of New Richmond; 10 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Se was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Services will be at 2 p.m.m Monday at the Servies Funeral Home. The Rev. C.H. Inniss will officiate, with burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home where friends may call after 10 a.m. Sunday.
