Murphy - Mary Gleason - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Mrs. Mary May MURPHY for many years a resident of this community passed away at her home, 108 Harrison St, Saturday morning following a three weeks' illness; Mrs. Murphy died at 1:40 o'clock. The deceased was born Jan 23, 1882 in this city the daughter of Alonzo and Magdeline GLEASON. In 1900 she was unite din marriage with Joseph Murphy. Those who survive are two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Weliever and Miss Ella Murphy, both of this city, 3 sons; Paul, Charles and Patrick of Crawfordsville; two brothers, Grant of Popular Bluff, Missouri and James Gleason of this city and two sisters, Mrs. Ola Harrington and Mrs. Anna Taylor, also of Crawfordsville. Other survivors include four grandchildren. The funeral services will be held at Hunt & Ratcliff Funeral Home Monday afternoon at 2 with Rev. Ferguson in charge.
