Waynetown – David Leeora (Ora) Murphy, 82, died in his home here at 6 a.m. Tuesday. He had been ill and bedfast for over a year. Born near Shelbyville, he was a farmer north of Waynetown for years until his retirement in 1942 when he moved to Waynetown with his wife who died in 1958. His wife was the former Maude Armfield. They were married in 1900. Mr. Murphy was a member of Wingate Christian Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Francis Pittman with whom he shared his home and Mrs. Lucille Switzer of Lafayette and a son, Robert of Crawfordsville R 4. - kbz
