Maysville – Requiem high mass for Charles E. Murphy, 50, native of Maysville, who died suddenly at Crawfordsville, Ind while on his way home to visit his mother, Mrs. PE Murphy of East 4th street, this city will be intoned Tuesday at St. Catherine’s Church, St. Loui, Mo. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery there. Son of Mrs. Mayme Fitzgerald Murphy and the late PE Murphy, jeweler of this city he left Maysville in 1912 for St. Louis to enter the show business with his uncle, Charles Fitzgerald. For the past several years he has been salesman for the Brown Shoe Company, St. Louis. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Charlotte Cook Murphy; two daughters, Loretta 17 and Charlotte Ann 12; three brother, J. Gerlad Murphy; William F. Murphy and Frank P. Murphy and three sisters, Misses Lucille and Agnes Murphy and Mrs. Louise Divine, all of this city.
