Nettie A. Murdock of 111 Vance St. succumbed Friday afternoon in Culver Hospital after an illness of two weeks. A native of Linden, she was a daughter of Theodore and Louise Shoemacker Dettbenner. She married Charles D. Murdock, who died in 1940. Mrs. Murdock was a member of Linden Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Linden High School and lived most of her life in the New Richmond area, moving to Crawfordsville in 1962. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Theodora Krauskopf of Ft. Wayne and Mrs. Mary Wills of Crawfordsville; a son, James Murdock, Crawfordsville businessman; a sister, Miss Grace Dettbenner of Crawfordsville, and four grandchildren. A son, Paul, and three sisters preceded Mrs. Murdock in death. Funeral services are announced for 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home, where friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday. Revs. Keith Carlile and Richard Clayton will officiate, and burial will be in Linden, Cemetery.

Funeral services for Nettie A. Murdock were held Monday morning in the Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Carlile and Rev. Richard Clayton officiating. Burial was on the family lot in Linden Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers and assisting with the floral tributes were Clyde Patton, Glenn Newkirk, Francis Quigg, George Bradley, Everett Pierce and Raymond Allen. Ike Montgomery served as honorary pallbear. Selections were played on the organ by Mrs. O. C. Edwards.
