Funeral services for Glenn T. Murdock who died Nov 23, were held following Saturday morning at 10:30 at the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown the Rev. Homer Hunsinger of Lebanon officiating. The organ selections by Mrs. Roselyn Hopper included the requested hymn Beyond the Sunset. Honorary pall bearers were Clifford Coon, Lawrence Gross, members of the Bible class of the Pleasant Hll Christian church and teacher, Paul Fulwider. Active pall beaers who also cared for the flowers were Blye Moody; Ralph Risk; Eston Swindler; Clifton Coon; Hal Hopper and Byron Cowan. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill cemetery. He was a member of Pleasant Hill church from the age of 15.  Mr. Murdock who has not been well for some time had been worse the last five weeks and hospitalized the last three weeks at St. Elizabeth hospital, Lafayette where he died. Mr. Murdock was born June 27,1 884 in Coal Creek Township, the son of James Henry and Miriam Reed Murdock.  (line gone)– two sons, James L of Muncie and Lester E of near Wingate; three granddaughters, Mary Ann, Jill and Marilyn; one grandson, James R and five great grandchildren. Waynetown - Glenn T. Murdock of Rt 2, Waynetown died early Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette, where he had been a patient for 3 weeks. He was 82. Murdock spent his entire life near Waynetown where he operated a farm until his retirement in 1943. Then he became a used machinery repairman an occupation that he pursued until 5 weeks before his death. Born in Coal Creek Township, June 27, 1884, he was the son of James Henry and Miram Reed Murdock. He began attending the Pleasant Hill Chrisitan Church when he was 15. He received his education in Wingate School. He was preceded in death by Ada Kunkle, a sister and 3 brothers, Byrl, McKinley and Robert. Services will be held at the Servies-Funeral Home in Waynetown Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Rev Homer Hunsinger of Lebanon and Rev. GS Comrie pastor of Pleasant Hill Christian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday. kbz
