CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind., --Mrs. Clara C. Munson, age twenty-four, who died yesterday at the home of her father-in-law, John Munson, sexton of the Masonic cemetery, planned all the details of her funeral and selected her burial place.  Mrs. Munson, who died of tuberculosis, had been sleeping in a tent in the yard at her father-in-law's home for several weeks in the hope of benefiting her health.  From her bed she could see the cemetery that was soon to be her resting place.  She told her family the kind of coffin she wished and also asked that her wedding dress to be her shroud.  Mrs. Munson, who was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George M. Ebaugh, who resides south of the city, had been married only eighteen months.  The Rev. Mr. Plunkett, who performed the marriage ceremony, will conduct the funeral services. – thanks to Kim H

Mr(s). Clara C. Munson who died Monday noon of tuberculosis, prepared all the details of her own burial, even to naming the location of her grave.  Lying on her death bed, beneath a tent at the home of her father-in-law, John Munson, sexton of the Masonic Cemetery, the young woman instructed her relatives of the full details of the funeral.  From her bed she could gaze across the cemetery that was soon to be her last resting place and in it she named the location she desired for her grave. She also told how she wished the grave made.  She told of her casket and asked that her wedding dress be her shroud. The Rev. A. Plunkett, who married Mr. and Mrs. Munson, was named as officiating clergyman at the funeral services.  All details of the funeral of Mrs. Munson will be carried out as she asked.

She was married to Ora Munson about 18 months ago and to this union was born one child, who died in infancy.  Mr. and Mrs. Munson returned here from the south where they had gone in hopes that a change of climate would benefit Mrs. Munson.  They returned home about three weeks ago and have been at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Monson since.

The funeral services will be conducted from the Munson home at the masonic cemetery Wednesday afternoon at three o’clock. The services will be held on the lawn and will be in charge of the Rev. A. Plunkett. The Baptist Church choir will sing. Interment will be in the Masonic Cemetery.  - kbz
