Ruth I. Munns, 87, a former resident of Waynetown and Bloomington, died Tuesday Dec 15, 1992 in Williamsburg Helath Care Center, Crawfordsville. Mrs. Munns retired in 1972 after 47 years of teaching elementary school, mostly with Monroe County School Corp, Bloomington. A 1923 graduate of Hillsboro HS she attended Buter University and Indiana University where she received her bachelot's and master's degrees in education. She was a member of First Christian Church in Bloomington, National Education Association and Indiana Retired Teachers. Born July 26, 1905, in Waynetown, she married William D. Munns in Indianapolis July 2, 1927. He preceded her in death April 22, 1983. Surviving are two sisters, Jewell Bounell, Crawfordsville and Lois Johnson of Covington and two nieces. Visitation was Thursday at Cramer-Shoemaker Funeral Home, Waynetown. Service was there on Friday with Rev. Ed Maurer officiating. Interment at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. She was preceded in death by 7 brothers and two sisters. Thanks muches to Dellie & Mariah :)
