Waynetown, Jan 12 - Charles B. Munns, 75 died at his home here at 10:40 a.m. Thursday. He had been ill 3 days after a heart attack. Mr. Munns was a grocer here for 57 years. He had been located in the same building since 1898. Born 5 miles south of here August 1, 1874, he was the son of William and Mary Dochterman Munns. He was married twice in 1896 to Etta Merrell who died many years ago and in 1923 to Edna Ellis, who survives. He was a member of the Waynetown Baptist Church and Odd Fellows Lodge. Other survivors are two sons, Merrell of Columbia City and William D. of Bloomington and a daughter, Miss Sarah Jean Munns of French Lick. Another daughter died several years ago. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Grenard and Servies Funeral Home here with burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Rev. Harvey S. Burns will be in charge. Friends may call at the funeral home. The family has requested no flowers be sent. - kbz
