Mullikin - Rachel

Mrs. R. L. Mullikin died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. T. Pitman, one mile south of this city, at 6 o’clock a.m. Saturday. The funeral occurred at the First Baptist Church on Monday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. A. W. Runyan. Mrs. Mullikin was born July 25, 1840, at Ladoga. She was married to John K. Mullikin January 11, 1856. She is the last of a family of ten children. She united with the Baptist Church of Crawfordsville when seventeen years of age. She was one of its earliest and most faithful members and up to her death was always interested in the welfare of her church. Her last work was in attending the revival meetings, in which she took great delight, that she had the privilege of spending her last days in the service of her Master. -s
