Waynetown - Mrs. Zula E. Mullen, 92 of Waynetown died at 9:45 p.m. Friday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville where she had been a patient only a few hours. Mrs. Mullen was a membr of Waynetown Baptist Church and Delta Alpha Sunday School Class. She and her husband had farmed many years. She had lived in the Waynetown area all her married life. She attended Waynetown schools. Born July 13, 1885, near Wingate she was a daughter of Charles B. and Jenny Fayers (Sayers?). She married Jesse Mullen on Dec 6, 1899. He died in December 1966. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Amy Foreman and Mrs. Dorothy Kyle of Elkhart and Mrs. NIna L. Wilkinson of Waynetown; a sister Mrs. Kathryn Moore of Ft. Myers, Fla; four grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Two grandchildren and a sister are deceased. Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Monday in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with Rev. Stephen Malone officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday. - kbz
