W. J. Mullen, aged 72 years, died last Friday at 4 o’clock at his home southeast of Darlington. He had been ill for some time and his death was not unexpected. The funeral occurred Saturday at the Lutheran Church in Darlington. Mr. Mullen leaves two children, Albert Mullen and Mrs. Ira Hiatt. He was a most excellent citizen and was highly esteemed in the community where he passed his useful life. -s
