Moses Franklin Mullen, 90 died at 8:25 p.m. Thursday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Edna Thompson about six miles north of Crawfordsville. He had been in failing health 4 years and seriously ill 2 weeks. Born Jan 30, 1870 near Waynetown he was a son of John and Althea Ball Mullen. He was married Dec 24, 1906 at Crawfordsville to Sarah Roseanna Mitchell. Mr. Mullen, a retired farmer lived his entire life in Montgomery County. He attended Ball school near Waynetown. Survivors include his wife; the daughter at whose home he died and two other daughters, Mrs. Mary Kinnemon of near Judson and Mrs. Vina Switzer of Rt 1, Crawfordsville; a son, George Mullen of Rt 10, Lafayette; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Keys of Crawfordsville; 8 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Servies Funeral Home at Waynetown. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday; burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Crawfordsville – Moses Franklin Mullen, 90, died at 8:25 p.m. Thursday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Edna Thompson, six miles north of Crawfordsville. He had been in failing health four years. Born near Waynetown, he was married at Crawfordsville in 1906 to Sara R. Mitchell. He was a retired farmer and spent his life in Montgomery County. Surviving with the widow and daughter are two other daughters, Mrs. Mary Kinnamon of near Judson and Mrs. Vina Switzer of Crawfordsville Rt 5; a son, George Mullen of Lafayette Rt 10 and a sister Mrs. Sarah Keys of Crawfordsville. ~~~transcribed by kbz
