Waynetown - Mary L. Mullen, 89 of Rt 1, Waynetown died 3:38 p.m. Wednesday in Culver Hospital. A lifelong resident of Waynetown she was a member of Waynetown Baptist Church where she was an active member of the Delta Alpha Sunday School class.
She was also a member of the Crawfordsville Christian Science Church where she was organist. She was a private music instructor for many years in the community. Born July 14, 1892, near Waynetown her parents were Guy and Nettie Bowerman Little. She was graduated from Waynetown High School. On Sept 4, 1910, she married John Mullen. He died Jan 26, 1966. Her daughter, Elizabeth Kirkpatrick preceded her in death in 1970. Surviving are two grandsons, John Kirkpatrick of Anaheim, Calif and Lee K. of Tallahassee, Fla and two great grandsons.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Thomas Funeral Home. The Rev. Dorman Winger will officiate. Burial will be at the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday.
