Muhleisen - Albert

Source: Crawfordsville Journal, Monday, March 22, 1915

Albert Muhleisen, 63 years old, a resident of Crawfordsville nearly all his life, died at his home in Lafayette at seven Saturday evening, after an illness of a few weeks, with a complication of diseases. The body was brought here today and funeral services will be held from the home of Miss Hannah Muhleisen, 111 east Wabash avenue, Tuesday afternoon at two-thirty. Mr. Muhleisen was in business in Crawfordsville for years. Three years ago he went to Lafayette, where he had been in business with Harry Pearson. He was known for his generosity. He is survived by his wife of a third marriage, three brothers, John, William of this city and Henry of Bloomington, Ill., and one sister, Miss Hannah Muhleisen, of this city. Mr. Muhleisen was born in Richmond, Va., and came with his parents to Crawfordsville when a small boy. Perhaps no man who lived in Crawfordsville was more widely known in this and surrounding counties.

Thanks so much Kim H - kz
