Fred A. Myers Nov 17, 1894 - Oct 1, 1987 - Waveland - Fred A. Myers, 92, of Waveland died Thursday in the Ben Hur Nursing Home at Crawfordsville. Mr. Myers was a retired farmer and past chairman of Brown Twp Farm Bureau. he was a member of Waveland Christian Church, Waveland Masonic Lodge 300 F & AM, Indianapolis Valley Scottish Rite and Waveland Fire Department. He graduated from Marshall HS. He was born Nov 17, 1894 in Parke County to O.L. and Laura Mitsey (sic - should be Litsey) Myers. He was married to Olive Lough on Feb 14, 1949 at Waveland. She is deceased. Surviving are a foster daughter, Mrs. Margaret Schenck; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Hockettl and Mrs. William (Virginia) McCampbell; six grandchildren 15 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A brother, two sisters, one grandchild and two great grandchildren are deceased. Services are schedule for 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Machledt Servies Funeral Home at Waveland with Rev. Norman Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery at Marshall. Friends may call at the funeral home 6-8 p.m. today. Masonic memorial service by the Waveland Lodge will be at 8 pm. today in the funeral home. - transcribed by kbz
