Gregory Allen Murdock, 45, Covington, died Sept. 28 in his
residence. Mr. Murdock formerly worked for Danville (Ill.) Metal
Stamping and a farm laborer for Dale Lape and Tom Rennick. He was
a 1976 Covington High School graduate. He was born Oct. 29, 1957,
at Peoria, Ill., to Ernest and Betty Jo Hawn Murdock. Survivors
include a daughter, Kimberly Murdock, Carol Stream, Ill.; two
sisters, Rita Rice, Pine Village, Ind., and Lisa Hardy,
Crawfordsville; and a brother, Rodney, Veedersburg. His parents
are deceased. Memorial services are scheduled 7 p.m. Monday in
Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, with the Rev. Edwin Retter
officiating. Friends may call 5-7 p.m. Monday in the funeral
