Heart Seizure Proves Fatal To Physician - Dr. W. C. Mount, of Kirklin Succumbs At His Home Monday Dr. WILLIAM C. MOUNT, 68, practicing physician and prominent citizen of Kirklin for forty-two years, died suddenly Monday morning at seven from a heart seizure at his home. He was ill about two hours. He was one of the most prominent men in the entire southeast part of the county and was well known over the state in medical circles. His entire professional life and been spent in Kirklin as he located there in 1905 shortly after his graduation from medical college. He had been successful in his profession as well as in business and was one of the outstanding men of the community. Funeral services will be held in the Kirklin Methodist Church Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Fred Wintle officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the home until 1 p.m. Wednesday at which time the body will be taken to the church where the remains will lie in state until the funeral hour. Dr. Mount was born in Darlington; Montgomery County, September 9, 1879. His parents were W. B. and Anna (BUCHANAN) MOUNT. On December 29, 1909 he was married to Mary B. ULM, who survives. A son, Dr. William B. MOUNT resides in Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Pearl COX lives in Indianapolis and two brothers, Fred and Frank MOUNT, live in Dayton, Ohio. There are two granddaughters, Sharon and Suzanne MOUNT, daughters of Dr. and Mrs. Wm. B. MOUNT. Dr, Mount was a member of the Kirklin Methodist Church and Kirklin lodge No. 443, Fred and Accepted Masons.
