Mount - William

William Mount was sitting on a store box in front of Jake Joel's clothing store on Monday evening of this week, quietly conversing with Mr. A. Joel, when suddenly he gasped leaned backward against the window railing and was cold in death. Physicians were on hand in a moment but too late for earthly assistance. The cause of his death was heart disease. He was 81 years of age and was a pioneer citizen of Montgomery County, worthy and honest. He leaves a wife but no children of his own. The funeral took place at the family residence, East Main Street, yesterday and was very largely attended. Services were by Rev. Hayes.
