Susan Catherine Mount was a woman of character. Her life was filled with good works and right living. Her sweet Christian character threw its influence around all who knew her. Sympathy, charity and love were the moving forces of her life. She loved her Master and gave her life to his service. Through all her life of eighty two years she was a faithful servant in the cause of Christianity and withal one of the most beautiful exponents. All who knew her loved her and called her wise and good. In Christian fortitude she was strong; complaint never passed her lips.  As her life was beautiful so was her death. The evening of her life went out in a peaceful setting. Her last act was to call her friends around her and tell them of the culmination of all her hopes for the future. The funeral was held at the home on College Street at 10 a.m., Thursday, Rev. Alexander officiating. Interment was at Oak Hill. – thanks so much to “S” for all her great obit work on this site
