Mount - Ida Burkett

GREENCASTLE – Ida Bell Mount, 82, of Rt. 1, Greencastle, died Wednesday morning in the Greencastle Nursing Home. She was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxilary at Rockville. Mrs. Mount, a former resident of the Bellmore area, was born Feb. 19, 1897, in Montgomery County, a daughter of Clay W. and Catherine (Stone) Burkett. She was married March 19, 1919, to Lonnie M. Mount, who preceded her in death Feb. 7, 1969. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Malcolm (Bonnie) Berry of Rt. 1, Greencastle, and Mrs. James (Georgia ) Wyatt of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie McClaine of Indianapolis and Mrs. Charlotte Storms of Crawfordsville; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services are at 2 p.m. Friday in Butler Funeral Home, Rockville, with the Rev. Allen Seward officiating. Burial will be in Brick Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today. – jlr
