Mount - Emma Pattison

Emma Jane Pattison was born at Alexandria, Ohio, May 21, 1853 and died at Maysville, Missouri, November 7, 1918, aged 65 years, 5 months and 16 days. She married Samuel B. Mount of Shannondale, Indiana, Dec 31, 1874. There survive her the husband and daughter, Morey, two sisters and four brothers. At sixteen years of age she joined the Christian Church at Rock Lane, Indiana, and on her marriage she transferred her membership to the Presbyterian Church. On moving to Missouri she again transferred her membership to the Methodist Church of which she was a member at the time of her death. "She was a good wife, a loving mother, a kind neighbor and a true friend. Mrs. Mount had knit 33 pairs of socks for the soldiers." - kbz
