Mote - Emma Holloway

Again we have been called to the house of mourning; this time to pay the tribute of respect to the remains of Mrs. Emma Holloway Mote. She died of puerperal fever, after a sickness of one week. Her parents are truly afflicted. It is only two years since they buried a daughter under like circumstances. They, with her husband, have the sympathy of all. Emma’s funeral discourse was preached by Rev. D. P. McLain. -s
