WAVELAND – Reed Morrow, 73, of Waveland, died at 2:15 a.m. Thursday in Culver Hospital after a brief stay. He was a lifetime resident of Montgomery County. Born May 5, 1895, in Montgomery County, he was the son of John and Meta Mitchell Morrow. He was married to Julis Long Aug. 13, 1921, in Rockville. She preceded him in death in 1966. Mr. Morrow was last employed by the Indiana Bell Telephone Company. He was a member of the Crawfordsville American Legion Post 72 and the Crawfordsville Eagles Lodge 1005. He served with the Marines in WW I. Survivors include two sons, Frank of Waveland and Robert J. of Crawfordsville; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Grace Wilder of Connecticut and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Machledt & Servies Funeral Home with Rev. John Servies officiating. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. – jlr
