NEW ROSS – Fred M. Morrison, 71, farmer in this community all of his life, died at his home southwest of here at 3 a.m. Wednesday after an illness of a year. Born Dec. 1, 1889 near New Ross, he was the son of Daniel V. and Alice Peterson Morrison. He was married June 17, 1922, to Mae Adkins. The survivors include the wife, a son, Adrian Morrison of near New Ross; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Oliver of New Ross and Mrs. Helen Hampton of Darlington, and a sister, Mrs. Lucille Davidson of North Salem. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home in Crawfordsville. Rev. Forrest E. Graves will be in charge and burial will be in the New Ross Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home alter noon Thursday. – jlr
