Mrs. Clara Martin Morrison, 88, for many years a resident of this city, died Tuesday at the Evanston Convalescent Center in Evanston, Ill. Mrs. Morrison, who had lived in Evanston for 27 years, was the widow of Harry C. Morrison, an officer of the First National Bank of Crawfordsville for many years. He died in 1923. Mrs. Morrison was born at Linden on Sept. 9, 1878. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Evanston. The survivors include a son, Martin J. Morrison, of Winnetka, Ill., assistant vice president of the Harris Trust & Savings Bank of Chicago; and two grandchildren. Other survivors include a number of nieces and nephews. They are George Martin of Linden, Ross Martin and Mrs. Forest Patton of New Richmond, Mrs. William Hankins of Darlington, Robert Martin of Darlington and Mrs. Malcolm D. Ross of Birmingham, Mich. Mrs. Raymond Martin of Linden is a sister-in-law. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Hebblethwaite Chapel in Evanston. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery here. Rev. Larimore K. Wickett, pastor of the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church, will be in charge.
