Morrison - Beulah Athern

LADOGA – Mrs. Beulah Belle Morrison, 78, of Ladoga, died at 10 a.m. Monday at her home here. She had been in failing health three years. Her husband, Urban Morrison, died last Feb. 7. A native of near Mecca, she was a daughter of Thomas and Hattie Hardin Athern and was born Dec. 11, 1888. She married Mr. Morrison on Dec. 11, 1907. Mrs. Morrison was a member of the Ladoga Christian Church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Linn of New Ross, Mrs. Andrew Hope of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Gordon Brunes of Brownsburg and Mrs. Emerson Oney of Greencastle; two sons, Russell of Crawfordsville and Carl of Ladoga, and nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gephart Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Ingram officiating and burial in Ladoga Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Tuesday. – jlr
