Mrs. Katherine D. Morris, the wife of Sylvester Morris, died at the family home, eight miles north of Crawfordsville last evening at 6 o'clock. The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Monger and will occur Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at the home. Interment will be at Oak Hill.

Mrs. Catherine D. Cochran Morris was born July 18, 1854. She was married to Sylvester Morris, who survives her December 12, 1872. To this union were born two children, Flora C., who is now Mrs. Wilbert Breaks, and Lew Wallace, who died in infancy. Mrs. Morris was a faithful member of the Christian Newlight church and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. After a prolonged illness, which she bore patiently, she died November 10, 1903, aged forty-nine years, three months, and twenty-one days. The funeral services were held at the home, eight miles north of Crawfordsville and were conducted by Rev. A. E. Monger. The interment was at Oak Hill.
