Daisy Morin, 86, of Colfax, died this morning in Clinton House at Frankfort. Mrs. Morin was a member of the First Presbyterian Church at Frankfort. Born Jan 24, 1894, in Clinton County, she was a daughter of Knox and Lucy Zarinz Baker. In 1921, she married Ray Morin, who preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, William of Mansfield, Ill.; a daughter, Betty Shannon of Frankfort; a brother, Calvin “Bill” Baker of Clarks Hill; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Goodwin Funeral Home at Frankfort. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery at Darlington. Friends may call at the funeral home 4-8 p.m. Friday. smc
