Miss Mattie Morgan died this morning at the residence of her sister, Mrs. Joseph Gilbert, near Terre Haute, after a protracted illness. Her remains will be brought here tomorrow for interment. Miss Mattie Morgan was the youngest child of the late Dr. S. B. Morgan and wife, and has lived in this city all her life. She was a consistent member of the Methodist Church and a lady of many virtues. She was the sister of Dr. D. N. Morgan and Mrs. Joseph Gilbert. -s
