Carroll D. Morgan, 70, of Crawfordsville died at 2:02 p.m. Sunday at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Born June 19, 1938, in Montgomery County he was the son of Cecil C. and Anna Lorene Warner Morgan. He had just been recognized for his 50 years of serivce at California Pellet Mill. HIs last job was as a Heat Treat Operator. He attended New Market Schools. Memberships included American Legion Post No 72, Steelworkers Union and Indiaan National Guard. He loved genealogy and gardening. Survivors include a sister, Maxine Eminger, Kendallville, five nieces, five nephews and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant son and daughter, Tyrone Dean Morgan and Tamara Jean MOrgan, his parents, two brothers, John Morgan and Clayton Morgan and two sisters, Dorothy Breedlove and Betty Devitt. Services are scheduled at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, 103 E. Main Street, New market with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery South. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. tonight as well as form noon to 1 p.m. Wed before the service. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Soc, 401 S. Earl Ave, Suite 1A Lafayette, in 17904.
