Albert Fisher Morgan who died on Thursday last, was buried at Wolfe Creek Cemetery on Sunday following funeral services by Rev. John Servies. The following obituary was read: Alfred Fisher Morgan, son of Elijah and Elizabeth Cunningham Morgan, was born in Parke County, Indiana July 13, 1865; passed away at Lakeview Hospital in Danville, Ill, May 30, 1940 at the age of 74 years, 10 months and 17 days. On Sept 6, 1893 he was united in married to Lillie Bonebrake. One duaghter blessed this union, but passed away in 1924. Fisher Morgan was widely known and possessed many fine qualities of good citizenship. He was a resident of Mo. for many years and while there united witht he Christian Church of Pattensburg. He returned to Indiana about 15 years ago; 6 years ago he came to Howard Township, Parke County, where he owned and operated a filling station until his death. One sister, Mrs. Loretta Weaver of Waveland, survives. Two half sisters, Mrs. Anna Coffin and Mrs. Mary Rusk preceded their brother in death. Besides the sister, the mourners are 6 nephews, 2 nieces and other relatives and friends. - transcribed by kbz

Alfred Fisher Morgan, 75, died at Lakeview Hospital in Danille, Ill earlyt his morning of coronary symbosis. He had been there about 3 weeks. Fun. services int he Wolk (sic) Creek cdhurch in charge of Rev. John Servies. Hour not definitely decided. One sister, Mrs. Loretta Weaver, survives.
