Moran - Nancy Carter - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Nancy S. Carter, daughter of J. J. and Melvina Carter, was born in Washington County, Ind., Feb. 13th, 1902, age forty eight years, one month and seventeen days. She was married to Peter Moran, of Crawfordsville, on Dec. 29, 1872. To this union was born five children, three of whom are living, John H., of Dexter, Mo., Harry E., of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Barbara M., of Mace, Ind. One sister and one brother survive a family of seven children. She united with the Christian Church of Darlington, Ind., at an early age. -s

February 14 at her home at Mace occurred the death of Mrs. Nancy Moran, widow of Peter Moran. Mrs. Moran was 48 years old and her death was caused by a cancer, from which she had long been a sufferer. The funeral occurred Friday afternoon at 2:30 from the home, interment being in the cemetery at Mace.
