Rockville, Ind - April 16 - special Former Parke County Sheriff William T. Moore died at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday morning at his residence here. He was 63. Moore served two terms as sheriff as well as two terms as deputy sheriff. He was a member of the Rokville American Legion and the 40 and 8; the Indiana Sheriff's Association & Parke Masonic Lodge. He is survived by a son, William J. Moore of Brownsburg; 4 sisters, Mrs. Edith Sturgeon of Hollingsburg; Mrs. Helen Wilson of Washington, DC; Mrs. mary Hamilton of Bellmore; and Mrs. Ruby Porter of Terre Haute; two brothers, Frank of Bellmore and Charles Moore of Waveland; and two grandchildren. The body was taken to the Branson Funeral Home where friends may call after 11:30 o'clock Thursday morning. Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the funeral home, with Rev. Lewis Alberton officiating. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery with the Rockville American Legion conducting graveside services. - transcribed by kbz
