-Ruel Ray Moore, former Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power Co. employee who went to work for the State Highway Department two years ago, died suddenly about 2 a.m. Saturday at his home, 1010 W. Main St. He was 59. Moore was a member of the Elks, Eagles, the Masonic Lodge at Waynetown and was a member of the Sportsmen’s Club for many years. He was born March 5, 1903, near Waynetown. His parents were Nathaniel and Bessie Patton Moore. He was married April 17, 1930, to Maxie E. Sering. Survivors include his wife; a stepson, David Sering of Mansfield, Ohio; a stepgrandson; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Schenck of Waynetown and Mrs. Josephine Buettner of Santa Monica, Calif.; two brothers, Arthur and Julian Moore, both of Sacramento, Calif., and a half-sister, Effie Blankenship of Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hunt & Son funeral Home with Rev. John Servies officiating. Burial will follow in the Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
