Moore - Mary Nicholson

Mrs. Mary R. Moore, daughter of Joseph and Rachel Nicholson, was born June 22, 1875 near Whitesville, and departed this life, April 4, 1922, aged 46 years 9 months and 12 days. She became a member of the Methodist Church early in childhood and lived a consistent Christian life. She was united in marriage to Dr. CE Moore Aug 24, 1891 who preceded her in death 12 years ago. To this union was born one daughter, Ruth V. McCay, of Linden. She is also survived by one grandson, David Edward McCay and the following brothers and sisters: Dicen Nicholson of Michigan; Mrs. Carrie Snyder of Worthington; Mrs. Belle Grimes of Veedersburg; Mrs. Edward Hendrick, of Alamo and Mrs. Allen Moore of Crawfordsville. Mrs. Moore graduated 9 years ago from Culver Union hospital. She was widely known and loved by a large circle of friends. Her ever present smile and tender words never failed to give inspiration to those to whom she administered. She was laid to rest in the Linden Cemetery. - kbz
