Mrs. George W. MOORE, died at her home in the W. part of town early on Wed. morning. She has been in failing health for a long time and her death has been imminent for weeks. The funeral services at the ME Church yesterday afternoon were conducted by Rev. WW Speer. Interment at Union. Mary Elizabeth Marshall was b. in Bowling Green Ky, Jan 8, 1847. She was married to George W. Moore Dec 10, 1867. Mr. Moore who was a vet. of the Civil War died May 22, 1908. To them were born 8 children; two daughters, Ida and Dursetta are dead. Those living are: Perry and Bell of Waveland; Merle of Crawfordsville; Wallace of Milroy; Claude and Mrs. Leona Hodge of Mecca. To these children she was a devoted and affectionate mother. besides the children 19 grandch and many relatives and friends mourn departure. Among the floral offerings was a beautiful arrangement of lilies and sweet peas presented by the fellow employees of Perry Moore of the Central Indiana. - transcribed by kbz
