Mrs. Martha Viola MOORE who died at her home here Thursday night, was born at New Ross, Oct 26, 1873 of Archabald and Mary Scott and was married to William H. Moore in Crawfordsville in 1892. She spent her whole life in Waveland where Mrs. Moore was a loyal worker in her church until her illness six years ago. She had been critically ill since May of this year. She will be remembered as a busy happy and loving wife, mother and friend. There survive, her husband and a son, Raymond of Waveland; a daughter, Mrs. MS Simms of Vinita, Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; three brothers, Benjamin Scott of Valparaiso, and Wm. and Ira Scott of Lebanon; two sisters Stella Morgan of Crawfordsville and Amanda Adams of Indianapolis. Those attending from out of town were Ben Scott of Valparaiso. Bill and wife and Ira Scott of Lebanona; Harry and Cora Call of Clinton; Clarence Call and wife of Staunton, Indiana, Fred Call of Georgetown, Illinois; Stanley Morgan and wife Mrs. Elsa Moore and family of Mecca; Dane Moore and wife of Indianapolis. The funeral was conducted at the Machledt Funeral Home by her pastor, Rev. Osborne of the Christian Church, Sunday afternoon. Burial in Old Union Cemetery. - transcribed by kbz
