Laura E Craig, youngest daughter of John G. and Elizabeth Craig, married Wm. L. Moore Nov. 12, 1874, died Feb. 3, 1901. To them were born four children, three girls and one boy, three of whom are living, Maggie having preceded her mother on the 13th of Nov., 1899. A good part of Mrs Moore's life was spent in Darlington where to know her was to admire her for her many womanly qualities. She had been sick for some three years and bore her sufferings patiently, no murmuring or complaining—but a complete resignation to the will of God. She died mourned by all that knew her. She was an obedient and dutiful wife, a kind and loving mother, a most accommodating and obliging neighbor. The family have the sympathy of all in this their great affliction. Her funeral was conducted Tuesday by the Rev. Levi Reese of the Friends' church of which she had long been a member. Burial at the Lutheran cemetery - thanks so much to Kim H for this one
