Julian Troy Moore, 48 of Sacramento Calif passed away Sept 9. He was born near Waynetown, son of Nathaniel and Bessie Moore. He attended the Waynetown School until moving to California where he graduated from high school and college. He was a veteran of WWII and was in the air conditioning business until 5 years ago when he suffered an accident and was in poor health since that time. Survivors are a sister, Mrs. John Schenck of Waynetown, a half sister, Mrs. Effie Blankenship, Crawfordsville, also another sister, Mrs. Josephine Buettner of Santa Monica, California and a brother, Arthur Moore of Sacramento. Military rites were held Monday in Sacramento and interment was in a military cemetery there.  Findagrave – Julian T. Moore Indiana Tec 4 HQ Co 6 Army WWII 9-10-1918 to 9-9-1966 buried Sacramento County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Sacramento, Claif - Military rites were conducted Monday for former Waynetown resident, Julian Troy Moore, 48, who died last Friday (9 Sept) after he had been in failing health five years as the result of an accident. He had attended Waynetown school until moving to California where he gradauted from high school and college. The WW II veteran had been in the air conditioning business. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. John Schenck of Wayentown and Mrs. Josephine Buettner of Santa Monica, Calif; a half sister, Mrs. Effie Blankenship of Crawfordsville and brother, Arthur Moore of Sacramento. Burial in military Cemetery, Sacramento.
