Waynetown, July 27 - Mrs. Eva Ellen Moore, 74, died suddenly at her home here Sunday morning at 12:10 o'clock. Death was attributed to an acute heart attack. Mrs. Moore was born March 18, 1873 5 miles SW of Waynetown and was the daughter of Samuel and Phoebe Clodfelter Neece (sic - Neese). She was married to David Moore at Covington Jan 15, 1890 and was a member of the Lutheran Church at Wallace. Surviving are the husband; one daughter, Mrs. Marion Westfall, Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Edith Williams, Champaign, Ill; a brother, Ira Neece, Waukesha, Wis; a step-brother, Austin West, Indianapolis and a granddaughter, Mrs. Virginia Bane of Wingate. Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Waynetown Methodist Church with Rev. Guy E. Tremaine assisted by Rev. John N. Cassidy. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. July 31- Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Ellen Moore were held Tuesday afternoon from the Methodist Church. Rev. Guy E. Tremaine officiated and was assisted by Rev. John N. Cassady, pastor of the Baptist church. Mrs. Paul Kunkel was pianist for Miss Louise Wethington and Mrs. William Logsdon who sang “Lord, I’m Coming Home” and “Good Night and Good Morning.” Pallbearers were Harry Hughes, Ray Butler, Ransom Martin, Emerson Blackford, Carol Myers and Ira Bruner. Assisting with the flowers were Vera Mae Gilkey, Audrey Clore, Mable Clore, Alta Hughes, Mary Hughes, Katherine Hallett, Virginia Bane, Jessie Wethington, Cleo Dunderstadt, Jane Clore, Ruth McCormick, Opal Sullivan. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery.
