Private services were conducted today at Sacramento, Calif., for Dwain E. Moore, who died unexpectedly Friday in his home at Sacramento. Mr. Moore was a former Crawfordsville High School teacher and Wabash College graduate in 1938. He taught English at CHS from 1939 to 1948. His tenure was interrupted by military service in 1942. He had been professor of speech at Sacramento State College since 1954. He was a son of the Rev. Earl and Bernice Moore. The Rev. Moore was formerly a pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church. Surviving are the widow, Ruth; a son and three daughters; two brothers, Merrill of Albuquerque, N.M., and Paul of Syracuse, and a sister, Mrs. Leland Melvin of Terre Haute.
