Alfred Moore, author of “Moore’s Criminal Law,” died last week at the home of his sister, Mrs. L. P. Doyle, in Chicago. Mr. Moore was well known in Crawfordsville, having graduated from Wabash College with the class of 1870. He was also a graduate of the law department of Michigan University, class of 1872, being a classmate of Judge Stemson, of Terre Haute, and B. R. Russell, of this city. He was fifty two years old. His many friends will regret to learn of his death. -s
