Ellen R. MOODY, 66, died at Culver hospital of carcinoma Sunday afternoon at three o'clock after several years' illness. She had been seriously ill, however, for only four weeks. She was born in Boone County, the daughter of Francis and Eva WHITELY and was marr. to Joseph Moody, who expired Sept 26, 1932. She was a member of the Providence Christian Church and the Rebekah Lodge of New Ross and for the past several years had resided at New Ross. Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Edith WILSON of Patowa, Indiana and Mrs. Elsie EMMERT of Cambridge City IN: two sisters, Mrs. Minnie SANFORD of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Hettie McLAINE of Advance; one brother, Ray Whitely of North Salem and six grandchildren one great grandchild; nephews and nieces. One daughter, Edna and one son, Roy, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at the New Ross Christian Church in charge of Rev. Forest Graves.
