Dwight C. Moody, age 63, brother of Mr. Oscar Moody and Mrs. Fred Whitecotton, passed away June 18 at the Presbyterian St. Luke Hospital at Chicago. He had been ill the past few months. Funeral services were held June 23 at Huber Funeral Home at Hammond. Those attending from Waveland were: Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Moody; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Whitecotton, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Whitecotton - kbz

Dwight C. Moody, age 62 of Grant Parke, Ill, formerly of Hammond passed away Sunday June 12 at St. Luke’s Presbyterian Hospital, Chicago. Survived by wife, Alma; son, Robert Dwight Moody of Crown Point; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Adams of Michigan City, Ind; 6 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Blye Moody of Waynetown, Ind; Oscar Moody of Waveland, Ind and James Moody of Denver, Colo; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Whitecotton of Waveland, Ind; Mrs. Frank Deer of Greencastle, Ind. Funeral services Thursday, June 16 from the Clarence J. Huber Funeral Home, 722 165th St, Hammond with Rev. W. Leon Hartman officiating. Burial Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, Ind. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 2 to 5 and 7-10 p.m.
