MOODY, Foster - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Foster M. Moody, brother of TN Moody, died at Frankfort Friday. TN Moody and Mrs. Sant Moody and children went to the funeral Monday. Mr. Moody was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky 63 years ago and came to this place when a boy. He worked for a number of years with Jack Simpson learning the blacksmith trade. He married Miss Marion Clements, a sister of Mrs. TN Moody. Four children were born of whom but one, Charles is living. Mrs. Moody survives her husband. He enlisted in the 21st Indiana Heavy Artillery and served through the Civil War, escaping with a slight wound caused by the explosion of a gun.
