JH Monroe, the father of Zura & Gusta Monroe, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Will Chesterson in Linnsburg on Saturday night. Mr. Monroe was 76 years old. Funeral services were held on Tuesday morning at the Linnsburg Christian Church. Mr. Monroe was known to many people here, having made his home with his son Zura. Besides the children mentioned there is one other son, Rollie. - kbz
