Oscar S. MONEY died in the Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis on Thursday morning after an illness of several weeks duration. Funeral services at the Christian Church on Saturday were in charge of Rev. Raymond Hartling. Burial in Maple Ridge Cemetery. Oscar S. Money, botn March 16, 1879 in Danville, Indiana, the son of John and Sarah Money was married Feb 28, 1906 to Alice SOUTHERN. To this union was born four daughters and two sons: Mrs. Gladys Garland and mrs. Mabel Burkhalter of Miami, Florida, Mrs. Hazel Vick of Madill, Oklahoma; Mrs. Elsie Stephen who preceded him in death Ernest Money of Boise, Idaho and Edgar Money of home. He was a member of the Brownsburg Christian Church. He came to Waveland four years ago from Miami, Florida. He died at the Mehtodist Hospital in Indianapolis, June 16, 1938. Surviving are the widow, children, 7 grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Mary Weller of Michigan and six brothers, Otis his twin of Brownsburg; Barton and Urban Money of Danville; Frank and Chauncy Money of Chicago and Charles Money of New Bethel. He is sadly missed by the family, friends and relatives. - kbz
